The worry that sits up with you at night.

A home gone quiet. Work that won't move.

A child, a parent, you can't stop thinking about.

For generations, people have brought all of it to Mahadev.

Rudraksha

His tears. Energised in your name.

What it is for

We won't promise you a miracle.

Nobody honest can. What you get is a rite done in good faith, in your name, by an acharya you will know by name. And a small thing to hold when the day won't settle.

A carved fake beside a real rudraksha, the cut line visible.

How we choose

Fakes are sold by the sack.

Here's how the trade works. Then what we do instead.

The look-alike

Bhadraksha, a seed from another tree, sold as rudraksha.

The carving

Extra lines cut in, to add faces and price.

The glue

Two rudraksha stuck into one.

The dye

Coloured dark to look old.

The mould

Plastic and wood, pressed to shape.

An acharya's hands turning a rudraksha under a lamp, counting its faces.

Floating it in water proves nothing.

What works is slower. When you order, an acharya checks your rudraksha in hand: its faces, its lines, its surface, its weight. One that fails is not sent.

Doubts, answered.

It is chosen at source, purified at a temple, and checked by an acharya, one by one, when you order. You receive the clips of the rite, and in the box, its documentation and the acharya's verified licence. A rudraksha needs no lab certificate. It needs a trained eye, and you will know whose.

Honestly, no one can promise you that, and we won't. What our acharyas offer is a rite performed in good faith, and a support for your own practice and effort. Many seekers find that keeping it close, and turning to it each day, steadies them.

Returns cover a rudraksha that arrives damaged, different or wrong. They don't cover a change of mind. So ask before you buy. Shambhavi will help, and an acharya can read your chart if you want one to.

Monday is the traditional day. Bathe first and rinse the rudraksha in clean water. Hold it in your right hand. If you keep a mantra, say it; Om namah shivaya is the one most say. Wear it where it touches your skin.

Treat it like wood. A few drops of sesame or mustard oil every month or two. Keep soap, shampoo and chlorine off it. It will darken with wear, and that is no fault.

Yes. Rudraksha has been worn by women for as long as it has been worn. A few families have their own rules about certain days. Follow yours if you keep them.

No. It's a seed from a tree. Anyone may wear one with respect.

Still unsure? Ask Shambhavi or call +91 88006 04588, 10 am to 6 pm.
